]]><![CDATA[EAST BAY FEIS DEADLINE UPDATES]]>Fri, 15 Oct 2021 15:23:08 GMThttps://www.eastbayfeis.com/2021-feis-updates/east-bay-feis-deadline-updatesDue to numerous requests, we have extended the deadline to enter the Feis to Monday, October 25, 2021.  This will help to accommodate any level promotions received at the CIDA Feis on October 23 and 24, 2021 in Southern California.

Video uploading will now take place on October 26 and 27, 2021 and judging will still be held October 29 through October 31, 2021.  This will allow for our participants to received constructive feedback before the Western Region Oireachtas from our esteemed panel of Irish Judges, Rachael Corr, Gavin Doherty and David Moore!

Chris has uploaded music, including set dances, with many speeds.  However, you may find some sets that do not have your speed; for example, King of The Fairies has not been uploaded.  

If you do not find your set/speed when registering at Quickfeis, please fill out the Google Doc Form that you will find HERE or below under the Musician information onour home page, to request that Chris upload a video with your set and required speed.  Let us know if you need any questions.

]]><![CDATA[Open For Registration/Second Chance Competitions /Video Upload Deadline]]>Sun, 26 Sep 2021 07:00:00 GMThttps://www.eastbayfeis.com/2021-feis-updates/open-for-registrationsecond-chance-competitions-video-upload-deadlineThe East Bay Feis Committee is pleased to confirm our adjudicators for the Feis:
  1. Rachael Corr, ADCRG, Belfast, Northern Ireland
  2. Gavin Doherty, ADCRG, Belfast, Northern Ireland
  3. David Moore, ADCRG, Co. Louth, Ireland

The Feis is now open for registration online at QuickFeis (www.quickfeis.com). The deadline to register and enter the Feis is October 21, 2021. Please further note that all videos must be uploaded at QuickFeis between 10/23-10/26 in ordered to be judged.

In addition, 2nd Chance Comps for the Online East Bay Feis are now available through QuickFeis.  PLEASE NOTE: in order to accommodate and streamline the second chance competitions, ALL dancers MUST wear BLACKOUT attire in their 2nd chance competition rounds!  Solo dresses and school uniforms should be worn in the regular competitions (i.e. not second chance competitions) 

All Parents and Dancers entering the Online East Bay Feis  should review the Syllabus thoroughly. The syllabus can be found at QuickFeis, the McBride School Website and the East Bay Feis Website  

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work with QuickFeis to make this the best Online Event that we can, in order to provide a place for meaningful competition and comments for all WR dancers, and additional preparation for dancers attending the Western Regional Oireachtas in November.
